What's the difference between a defended and an undefended divorce?

In a divorce, we need to ensure that children are looked after and financial conflicts are resolved. If this can be agreed without an order of court, then the divorce is undefended. This is a lower cost route than a defended divorce, as Beverley Johnson, Head of Family Law, explains.
