At Johnson Legal, we recognise the benefit to children of having relationships with both of their parents. That’s why we’re honoured to announce our new partnership with the Mark Williams Foundation, a transformative initiative launched by Nicola Williams in memory of her late husband, Mark Williams.

Too often, fathers struggle to access the legal support they need to maintain contact with their children because of the costs of litigation. Together with the Foundation and its Children’s Rights Project, we aim to make progress towards levelling the playing field, seeking to preserve the rights of fathers in Scotland to have the opportunity to be part of their children’s lives.

This isn’t just a new collaboration, it’s a continuation of a meaningful professional journey. Nicola’s relationship with Hayley Mitchell, Senior Associate at Johnson Legal, stretches back eight years, when Hayley worked tirelessly with Mark Williams to preserve his relationship with his children.
