Senior Associate
Nyree joined our Family Law team as Senior Associate in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping families through life’s most challenging experiences.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Nyree has specialised in Family Law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1999. After starting her career with Drummond Miller, she then progressed to Sneddon Morrison, where she practised as a partner for 11 years. Most recently, Nyree was Director at Thorley Stephenson, where she joined as Associate in 2014.
With decades of experience representing clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland, as well as instructing Counsel in the Court of Session, Nyree brings deep expertise across a wide range of matters. Her areas of speciality include divorce and separation, aliment, contact and residence disputes, Minutes of Agreement, co-habitation and prenuptial agreements, adoption, and school fee disputes.
Nyree’s experience and her calm, compassionate approach to family matters make her an invaluable addition to our team and to the clients she supports.
